Smooth jazz artists Ronnie Jordan, Incognito and many others from Brazillian music to straight ahead Jazz. Robbie has studied and been influenced by many of the artists mentioned including George Benson. Robbie plays a lot of music and has studied a lot of music by many of the artists mentioned including George Benson whos a major influence. Every single tune gets the smooth treatment making his guitar sing and swing.

While Robbie enjoys playing with his band he has also developed himself as a soloist having played hundreds of gigs in cafes, bars, markets, private parties, clubs, and restaurants. Robbie has gained and learned by experience how to stay engaged and connected with the audience by choosing instrumentals with strong and memorable melodies. He also sings a few songs during each set when necessary.

"I can see a niche market for what I do and what I bring to a venue which is music that's uplifting and beautiful to listen to. I can rock the place or make it relaxed and peaceful. I make it my personal goal every time I play to play and sound beautiful". Robbie Karena

Robbie's priority now is to keep being creative and record new music, to continue gigging as a Soloist, a Duo, or a 3-5 piece Band.

"Thanks for checking me out. I look forward to hearing from you and working together. God Bless" Robbie Karena
